The high end of the spectrum is reproduced by a coaxially integrated dome tweeter, perfectly aligned with the bass driver. The result is a particularly linear phase response. This particular set-up, used by APG since 1990, gives the iX6-O a conical acoustic opening of 120° that is maintained beyond 10 kHz. In addition to its compact dimensions and limited weight, the APG iX6 is characterised by its anti-diffraction baffle, which gives it excellent phase linearity.
