3.3 Compatibility

NESS is compatible with the following applications:

• Windows 10 and 11
• Mac OS 12.5 and newer versions, for Intel and Apple Silicon platforms.

The software is design to be adaptable to all kind of computers, with different CPU resources.

To optimize the CPU load:

• Deactivate the unused sources (Mute buttons on the mixer sources)
• Deactivate the unused groups (Mute buttons in the Design panel)
• Deactivate the atmospheric absorption in the Settings Tab
• Deactivate the unused reverb busses: Mute buttons over the reverb fader in the sources panels, or on the reverb mixer.
• Increase the size of the buffers (I/O vector size and signal vector size)
